We all know that local TV news operations work hard to make us afraid not to watch, and that May Sweeps is like their Halloween. This month I'll show you some of the most spine-tingling, blood-dripping "Special Reports" from around the country.

WPVI Action News 6 in Philadelphia is a good place to start; the promotional shot above, from an ABC News site, shows them literally chasing an ambulance.
