That synopsis sounds a lot like Peter Bagge's spidey story from a couple of years ago...
You write comic books, too? They let you out of the cage occasionally, apparently.
It's a little different, Vic. We tried to steal Bagge's story word-for-word, but for some reason Marvel wouldn't let us.
