Congratulations, Mr. Burns

...[W]ages and salaries now make up the lowest share of the nation’s gross domestic product since the government began recording the data in 1947, while corporate profits have climbed to their highest share since the 1960’s. UBS, the investment bank, recently described the current period as “the golden era of profitability.”

Superfrankenstein & Monster Force,

When will we see a rise in productivity from you two?

Corporate profits, it goes without saying, are evil. The stockholders who get the money are NOT nice, normal folks; they are evil profiteers! At least in SF's twisted liberal world, that is. Another VERY revealing post.

Spysmasher, I think I deserve comments that are typed with both hands, so please stop fingering your grandmother.

Oh, are you talking to me again? What happened to the "ignore the troll" routine? It's quite amusing how you try to throw 5th grade-level insults and dirt at me, instead of simply replying to my posts with FACTS. But of course, you can't DO that, since your deranged worldview is not BASED on facts!

What IS it based on? What else? HATING BUSH! But that's justified after all. We were living in a PERFECT, UTOPIAN world before HE came along. And if a Democrat becomes President, we will immediately RETURN to that utopia! In your deranged mind, at least.

Spysmasher,

This must be that perfect utopian world, what with the record corporate profits and everything. Thanks for the reality check.

Your reward is a fact-based riddle:

Why is George W. Bush like Manny Ramirez of the Boston Red Sox?

C'mon, you can get it.

Umm. Hello. Mr. Spysmasher? The guy who always insists he posts facts and wants them in return? The fact here is right in the lead article: "Wages and salaries now make up the lowest share of the nation's gross domestic profit sine the 1960s." You can argue the nobility of corporate profits all you want, but what's your answer to that? Average Americans are not paying their bills from anyy windfall in profit sharing; they are in debt and living check to check on their take home pay. FACT! IN YOUR FACE!Don't avoid the issue.

Why is George W. Bush like Manny?

Think about it.

They're both great hitters for the Boston Red Sox? No.

They're both from the Dominican Republic? No.

C'mon...

Stang said...

They're both playing out the string? No, wait, that can't be it... Manny's not playing...

Fire your stockbroker! Here is the secret of analyzing the economy, courtesy of "Anonymous"...

(1) Assemble all economic data.

(2) Reject all positive data, ignore overall views.

(3) Find any one single piece of negative data, and treat it as if it's the whole ballgame.

(4) Wallow in hating Bush, because "it's all his fault."

(5) I loved JonBenet.

(6) I was with JonBenet when she died.

(7) She died accidentally.

Why is George W. Bush like Manny Ramirez?

Neither can measure up to Pappy.

Alternative answer:

Both are anti-Christs.

Good one, duque.

I... I don't know what to say.

Haha! I OWN JONBENET! Now Karr is gone. Thanks Bonita Springs, FL, for providing me with a hiding place!

What are you talking about?

SF, I know it makes no sense. I didn't write that. Apparently I am so popular that people are now impersonating me!

Don't listen to him! I'm the real spysmasher!
