Mr. Peter,

Jesus gave his life and underwent horrific torture to acheive the salvation of the world. Your mockery of his sacrifice is shameful and blasphemous. Why is it "funny" to you to mock the crucifixion? I find it revolting and cowardly. Yes, cowardly!

I don't see you mocking Islam here. Why not? The reason is obvious -- you are AFRAID to mock Islam. But mocking Christianity, which is "safe," is fine. Offend Muslims? Dear God NO, never, never never! Offend Jews? Are you INSANE? Offend Christians? Of course! Every chance you get!

Is nothing sacred to you? I really do not know how you live with yourself. Does your mother see this shameful site? Does she know you have dishonored yourself this way? For your sake, I hope not.

What a coincidence, spysmasher. Just last night I was looking at shameful sites with your mother.

Nice response. What are you, about five years old?

Hey, Spice,

What are you so upest about? Your behavior here has been anything but Christian. I would never have guessed that you had ever heard of Christianity or the words of Jesus based on your posts from the last week or so.

It's good to see that you've heard of Jesus. Maybe you should study some of his works. You can find them in a book commonly known as The New Testament. There are four gospels, Matthew, Mark, George and Ringo.

You should look into it. You might learn something.

Exactly what have I said here that Jesus would disapprove of? Please be specific. More to the point, why do you insist I follow a moral code you mock and view as ridiculous? By the way, you shouldn't joke about the names of the Gospels right now. You liberals are supposed to be pretending you believe in God and respect faith. (At least until after the election.) Didn't you get the memo?

Um, I don't believe in God or faith. I think all religions are equally silly, although probably not equally threatening.

Spysmasher: Did you not notice something? SF originally posted these images without comment. He didn't create these images. Other people, supposedly honoring Jesus, have created these ludicrous products. THAT'S the point. What's being made fun of here is not Jesus, but how some people, in supposedly trying to promote their faith, instead trivialize it by cheapening it and dumbing it down to the most low-grade, poorly executed level of "entertainment" possible. I thought the point of religious faith was to elevate people to a higher, spiritual plane, not drag the religion down to the bottom level of shoddily made, commercial projects? If you are upset by their mere appearance, then you no doubt recognize that it's these cheap attempts to commercialize the faith that should be considered "blasphemous." Whatever humor we find here is in the irony of supposed attempts like these to spread "enlightenment" but that instead bottle religion into cheap, low-grade, (and easily mocked) commercial products that are about as far removed from the spiritual as you can get.

For one thing, Spice, I think Jesus would disapprove of your basic dishonesty. I COULD get very specific, but why bother? You don't care, and everyone else here already knows.

And regarding this: "You liberals are supposed to be pretending you believe in God and respect faith. (At least until after the election.) Didn't you get the memo?"

It ain't the liberals that are pretending to be religious until after the election.

Mr. Chadwick-- You are deluding yourself. You think SF posted those cartoons to point out irony? OK, then explain the cartoon on the lower right bar of this site that shows a girl telling Christ on the cross "I can see your wagina." And if SF so loves to point out irony, where are the "ironic" posts about Islam and Judiasm? Sorry Mr. Chadwick, but it's obvious that SF is into "Christian-bashing."

To Hoser X -- You say "Jesus would disapprove of my basic dishonesty," but you can't site a single example of my supposed dishonesty. I asked you for SPECIFIC examples. You responded "I COULD get very specific, but why bother?" Yes, why bother. Especially when, in reality, you CAN'T get specific, because no such examples exist. That didn't stop you from trying to smear me, though. Typical liberal. Why let the facts get in the way of a good smear? Happy Easter.

You're getting to be a bore, spysmasher. All you do is scold. And I can tell what you're going to say before you say it. If you don't make a solid effort get more interesting in the coming week, I'm taking your picture down.

Sometimes my work schedule allows me free time normally not shared by most. As it turned out I had monitored the site about the time as April 14 posting of the thread. Jaw slackened by surprise at the boldness of the post, I waited for what was sure to be the coming storm. Eighteen hours later, uncharacteristic for the site, not one solitary rejoinder. Not even by the one I was sure was the object of the trap. Had it not been for my impatience, and one minute, Spysmasher would have taken the bait first. At that point I realized that the brilliance of the post was not pointing out the crass commercialism of religion the site portrayed, as generations of parochial school kids were taught religion in similar ways, but the reaction (or lack of) the example revealed. The silence was deafening. Bravo Superfrankenstein

or... I need a life!

By the way the crossword was a "piece of cake"

Sorry my posts are not as wildy unpredictable as yours, SF. There's just no telling HOW you'll bash Bush or Christianity next! Please DO take down my picture, as I do not wish to be associated with this shameful site other than to act as a conservative monitor of the liberal filth and anti-American trash you peddle here daily.

Please, my children.

I'd bless you all, but it's been a busy weekend for me and I have a headache.

All of you, drink a glass of my "blood" and chill out, for mysake.

Hey, Supe, spysmasher "scolds"? You are too kind. The guy ceaselessly whines, pisses and moans (which, by definition, constitutes "conservative monitoring").

Ditch the smasher pic. The guy jumped the shark a long time ago. He didn't get the "nails of fun" post, as Mr. Chadwick so eloquently pointed out, and he still hasn't figured out that he's our little right wing monkey. The village idiot, as it were. This is getting just plain sad. Have a heart, let the fat white guy from Wisconsin go.

Oh my God. I know who you are now.

When I broke up with you, April, I really meant for you to get on with your life.

How sad that you haven't.

Oh yes, by all means, please "let me go." And since you can't defeat my ideas, just insult me and try to smear and defame me. You know, the same way all military personnel are deluded tools of the evil Bush-Hitler, right?

I can't really blame you for trying to attack me on a personal level. It's the only way you liberals know: NO IDEAS! MAKE PERSONAL ATTACKS! That's the liberal motto.

I expect to be banned from here soon. My posts are hitting too close to home. With each exchange, it becomes more and more obvious that I'm right, and that all you liberals have to offer is negativity and personal insults.

I state facts, in return I get insults and personal attacks. If you don't believe me, just read the responses to this post of mine (if there are any). They won't deal with ideas, but they will try to insult me in some way. Liberals are so stuck to this method, they'll do it anyway, even though I have just predicted it here!

For example, I've pointed out that our military in Iraq has a record high re-enlistment rate. Instead of any kind of thoughtful response, I get attacked and told the military is all delusional. Next I am told Jesus would not approve of me, but when I ask for specific examples they are not given -- because they do not exist. These types of posts prove you liberals are all full of it!

In the end, you resort to insult and censorship, even while crying "Freedom of speech for all!" and declaring your tolerance.
